I don't think I've mentioned it around here, but if you follow my LJ you know that there is an Italian ballet dancer by the name of Roberto Bolle who and I consider to be a "real life" Tristan Himes. He has the correct facial structure and body build, etc, and when I manipulated some photos of him to have violet eyes and the long dark hair, it was uncanny. This is one of those photomanips that I liked enough to make into a wallpaper for myself.
So no, this pic isn't mine. It's a photo of Roberto Bolle and one of his partners which I manipulated to look like Tristan and Kagome, so now it's a squish Broadway Universe image run through the sponge filter on Photoshop and with a tweaked color balance to make it look sepia-ish.
If any of you watched the opening ceremonies of the olympics last night you actually saw Roberto Bolle; he was the dancer in the white outfit with the mohawk. Course Del and I spazzed.
Good LAWD that's a good looking man. Funnily enough I did see that dance last night, though of course I didn't realize who it was. I just kept thinking, "Cripes, he's doing that well in front of ALL those people, by himself? Cripes."
i saw him dance last night. i thought the name sounded familiar. i loved his dance, he flowed so well. kinda cute too, well, minus the mohawk :giggles:

It's a folder where I save progress shots of the current pieces I'm working on. Del and a few other people on my buddy list like to see them while they're chatting with me.

This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and =Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
