Another illustration from Broadway Bound chapter 16 of Himes and Kagome...

He lifted his head to look at her. “I wasn’t depressed by that thought. I just felt empty and alone. Lost, like I’d never find a place I belonged again.” His next question broke her heart.

“What did I do wrong?”

“What?” she broke her silence, stunned that he could even think that what had happened was his fault.

“What did I do wrong? I must have done something for you to feel your only option was to walk away.” He looked up into her eyes, unshed tears glimmering in his own.

I did some more experimentation with colored light and shadow in this piece, and it really made the piece "work" for me. Wallpaper in combination with another upcoming piece coming soon.

This is very nice. The only thing I can find wrong with it is Kagome's arms. To me they're a little thin but other than that...it's VERY touching and you've protrayed this scene perfectly. I love it.

Very nice. You're right, the colored lighing really just pulles it all together. I can't imagine it any other way. I deffinately love their expressions.
