Description
Okay, before I get a deluge of "It didn't happen like that!", let me say up front that this is symbolic, not literal.
Another AFest piece. I absolutely adored Ed and Al's dynamic in Brotherhood. Their bond was unwavering, and everything at the end made me want to cry because I can be a sap sometimes.
Anyway, after first viewing Brotherhood I got this visual in my head of Al's soul being pulled from the armor and it wouldn't stop bothering me until I got it down on paper.
I've also been told multiple times over the last couple years that my work lacks texture, and I wholeheartedly agree with that. I've been working diligently to try and get more texture into my stuff, and I think this piece was a step forward there, particularly on the armor. I still have a ways to go, but progress is always good.
