I sincerely couldn't think of a better title than that. Since it's, like, been so long since the last time I was in an Aladdin art kick... and... yeah.
I couldn't help but at least try to do some Aladdin/Jasmine art after watching the DVD tonight. I've been having a particularly shitty day due to physically feeling bluh and having miraculously lost all ability to draw anything that's better than crap both in and outside of the classroom.
This piece might not look like a struggle, but oh my GOD it was. I fought with it for probably an hour and a half, and a good chunk of that was getting Jasmine's face to look right. I probably would have ditched it seeing as how it's so small, but... Aladdin just turned out too cute to abandon the entire pic. Now that it's finished, though, I'm glad I didn't abandon it after all...
I plan to color it once real life gives me the chance and motivation to do so.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
