Our first assignment of the semester in Illustration is to do a charicature and a realistic piece of any recognizable public figure, celebrity, etc. You can use the same person for both, or a different person for each. We're also allowed to portray an actor in a role he or she has done in a movie.
So here in all my geekish glory is a charicature of Doc from Back to the Future. I have NEVER successfully done charicature before and I still don't think I'm that good at it, but I hope you can at least tell who he is. I'm playing with ideas for putting the clock tower and/or a bolt of lightning in the background, and perhaps have hands holding the two ends of the plug he put together in the first movie just as the lightning struck the tower in the finished version. And that thing on his temple is the bandage from where he fell off the toilet while trying to hang a clock and hit his head on the sink, making him think of the Flux Capacitor.
I told you this was in geekish glory.
